In the series of taking suggestions and aspirations from the public on the Viksit Delhi Budget, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta interacted with trader and industry organizations
New Delhi, March 6,202 . Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta held detailed discussions with trader and industry organisations of Delhi today on the Viksit Delhi Budget in a dialogue organised at the Delhi Vidhan Sabha. Members of various industrial organisations in Delhi participated enthusiastically in this dialogue session and gave their suggestions on various issues related to the budget. During this program, MP Shri Praveen Khandelwal was also present with CM Rekha Gupta. During the discussion, industry organisations raised issues related to the impractical policies implemented by the previous government, development of infrastructure, cleanliness, availability of toilets, problems of basic facilities, pollution, etc. CM Rekha Gupta said that “the government will provide all the facilities of Ease of Doing Business to the trade and industrial organizations of Delhi”.
Giving information to the press after the dialogue, CM Rekha Gupta said, “we are happy that despite receiving the invitation in such a short period, today industrial organisations of Delhi shared their suggestions and aspirations with us to prepare a draft of the Viksit Delhi Budget”. She further said that “our industrial organisations play a key role in increasing the revenue of Delhi. Our government will try to take necessary steps on the issues raised during the dialogue. It is important that we work by understanding the expectations and needs of the industrial organisations of Delhi”.
The Chief Minister also said that “the previous government only propagated pain but our government under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will cure that pain. And we will fulfil all the promises made in our Sankalp Patra with full readiness and honesty”. CM Rekha Gupta remarked that “the objective of this dialogue program is to improve the living standards of the citizens of Delhi by discussing their problems and make the budget according to the needs of all those sections”.
Expressing her commitment towards the resolution of her government, CM Rekha Gupta said that “both the policy and intention of our government are clear. The Delhi government is determined to bring about all-round development of Delhi and Delhiites”. She reiterated, “our aim is that this budget should give many big gifts to the people of Delhi and bring more prosperity in their lives”.
