New Delhi, 4 March 2025 The Hon’ble Speaker of the Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta, met the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Sh. Vinai Kumar Saxena to formally express gratitude on behalf of the House for his Address to the Assembly on 25th February 2025.
A motion had already been passed in the House to express appreciation for the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor’s Address. In accordance with Rule 19(7), Speaker Sh. Gupta personally handed over the formal communication and conveyed the House’s acknowledgment of the Address.

I received a letter from the Honorable Speaker of the Delhi Assembly dated February 28, 2025. In this letter, I was informed that the House had passed a motion of thanks for my address delivered during the Assembly session held on February 25, 2025.
I am deeply grateful to the esteemed House and all the Honorable Members for this honor. A meaningful and positive discussion took place on my address, which serves as the vision document of the government for the welfare of the people. To implement the development-related initiatives outlined in my address, we must adopt a mission-mode strategy. I am delighted to learn that the government has already begun taking action in this direction.
Once again, I congratulate the Honorable Members and extend my heartfelt best wishes for their efforts toward the holistic development of Delhi and its people.
